A Nonflammable Propellant for Commercial Aerosol Formulations
Freon™ 134a propellant is a nonflammable propellant, and can be:
- Mixed with other propellants to produce a limited range of nonflammable propellant blends
- Used to reduce the flammability of aerosol formulations
- Stable for use in most aerosol formulations
Although Freon™ 134a is suitable for commercial applications, it is not used as a propellant in retail personal care products.
